Thank you Joni . . .

So I was a child of the 70s. I was a child in the 60s, granted, but my real education came as an adolescent/teen/young adult . . . and that was the 70s. And where did I get all my great philosophical revelations, why the music lyrics of the day.

I created this blog well over a year ago, just really didn't have anything I really wanted to say to the world, so here it sat, un-blogged on. And then several things happened in the last couple weeks.

1) I joined Facebook. Nothing really notable, everybody does it you know. Just that a couple new connections with old friends from my youth got me thinking philosophically again. Happens when you've made it past 50 . . .

2) I came across a contest where the idea was to describe how a certain artist's lyrics affected your life . . . now here I could blog for days.

3) A friend's recent post about a Stone's song made me realize just where the majority of my personal philosophical tenants originated. Well I'll be damned.

So now my friends, let the blogging begin . . .
